Medical Courier Driver โ€” 1099 Independent Contractor

Solvia Health Services is looking for dependable, professional drivers to transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and supplies to clinics, labs, and healthcare facilities. This is not a gig app. This is a real partnership with a growing healthcare company that treats its contractors with respect.

What You Will Do

  • Pick up and deliver medical specimens and supplies
  • Document every run with photos and logs
  • Follow chain-of-custody procedures
  • Maintain professional appearance and communication
  • Cover scheduled routes and on-call STAT runs
  • After-hours and weekend runs available

What We Require

  • Valid Illinois driver's license
  • Clean driving record (MVR pulled)
  • Reliable personal vehicle in good condition
  • Personal auto insurance (commercial use disclosed)
  • Smartphone with GPS capability
  • FBI-level background check clearance
  • HIPAA training completion (provided in onboarding)

Compensation

Paid per completed run. Competitive per-run rates based on distance and service type. After-hours and STAT runs carry premium rates. 1099 โ€” you are responsible for your own taxes. Payments issued weekly via direct deposit.

Transport individuals to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, and healthcare facilities. Our clients are real people โ€” seniors, individuals with health challenges, and families counting on someone to show up. If you have the heart for it, we have the opportunity.

What You Will Do

  • Transport ambulatory clients to medical appointments
  • Recurring dialysis runs (3x per week routes available)
  • Hospital discharge transport
  • After-hours and weekend coverage
  • Document trips and communicate with dispatch
  • Treat every client with dignity and patience

What We Require

  • Valid Illinois driver's license
  • Clean MVR โ€” no major violations
  • Reliable, clean, comfortable vehicle
  • Personal auto insurance (commercial use disclosed)
  • Professional, compassionate demeanor
  • FBI-level background check clearance
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation

Paid per trip. Base rate plus mileage. Dialysis routes offer consistent recurring income. After-hours runs carry premium rates. 1099 โ€” you manage your own taxes. Weekly direct deposit.
